There are more than 440 shark species in the waters of the globe. Nearly five people lose their lives, every year, due to shark attacks. Also, more than 40 million sharks are killed annually for commercial purposes.

Smell, sight, hearing, eletroreceptions and lateral line and the main shark senses.They provide information for activation of protection defenses and attack drives. Sharks are common down to depths of 2,000 metres (7,000 ft), in warm waters, but they can also be seen in shallow and fresh waters.
